1. Introduction

Welcome to isGPT ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the isGPT website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

IsGPT is an AI content detection tool designed to identify AI-generated text. We offer various subscription plans and features to help users detect AI-generated content.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

IsGPT offers the following subscription plans: Edu, Pro, and Business. We also offer one-time credit purchases for users who need additional credits without a subscription.

4.1 Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Please note that:

  • Subscription cancellation must be performed by the user through the Stripe Customer Portal accessible from your account menu.
  • No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.
  • After cancellation, you will continue to have access to your subscription benefits until the end of your current billing period.
  • Once your subscription period ends, your account will revert to the free Edu plan.

5. Privacy Policy

At isGPT, we prioritize user privacy. We do not store any user data, including the detection reports. Only text fingerprints are retained, which cannot be decoded to reveal your original content, ensuring your data remains private. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
  • Violate or encourage others to violate the rights of third parties, including intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to circumvent any security or access restrictions of the Service.
  • Use automated means to access or use the Service without our express permission.
  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MIT CSAIL and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. IsGPT expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgment of the modified Terms and agreement to abide by them.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
